Motor'n TV

This is the first day of Motor'n TV blog. Here is some quick history on Motor'n TV. I would like to introduce you to Motor’n TV (formally known as C-CARS TV) and to announce we have started production on our fourth season. C-CARS TV began airing in April of 2003 and have produced over 60 shows. Our show is aired through out Kansas, parts of Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri and Colorado. The first two years we were broadcast on Cox Cable. This year we have had the 11:30 AM time slot on KANSAS FOX Saturday mornings, which has given us the highest Nielson ratings of any of the sports channels in this time slot. Over the last three years we have developed some very good working relationships with organizations like NHRA, NSRA, SEMA and the Mid-America Shelby club. We will travel to over 50 different outdoor Motor’n events this year. We have developed quite a following with car enthusiasts who love to see the different vehicles that we bring to the show in our new truck and trailer.
We also love to work in promoting your products on some of our project vehicles. We are currently working on a 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, 1967 Chevrolet Camaro and 1967 Ford Shelby 500E Mustang. All will be very high end vehicles when finished. Any one of these vehicles could be displayed at SEMA or any other major event. If you would like more details on these vehicles please contact Frank at the phone numbers below.
The standard show format of the show we produce is divided into three parts:
Cool Parts is designed to showcase products and new innovations in the automotive and motorcycle industry. Studio production and on location interviews have given sponsors the flexibility to custom showcase their products.
Project Central is a hands-on segment targeted to the do it yourselfer showing how to do a project through fabrication or addition of aftermarket products. Viewers find this segment informative, factual and a source for trustworthy information.
At the Show has a large viewer following. We travel to all types of shows and events around the country and everyone wants their “pride and joy” on TV. This segment of the show is the biggest contributor to the growth of Motor’n TV. Frank Upton and Jay Wyckoff are the hosts of the show. The chemistry that we have adds an unusual twist to the show. For over 25 years Frank has been involved in the classic car business promoting collector car auctions, doing appraisals, specialty shows and car events. Jay is an expert builder and fabricator of cars and bikes. Frank has a hard time using even a screwdriver but his cars always look the best. Jay finds time better spent changing something on one of his projects or building something cool.
We have several great project to that we will be reporting to about in the up coming up, like Pit Viper, Clint Boyer Custom Hot Rod and special project to be announce on a 1969 Chevy Custom Camaro. I look forward to posting up coming events that we will be attending and reporting on. Pleases let me know if you have any questions or events of interested that you would like to discuss in Motor'n TV blog.
